What is Work BC?

WorkBC Prince George is one of many Employment Services Centres located across the province. The purpose of each Centre is to support British Columbians in getting – and keeping – a job as quickly as possible.

WorkBC Prince George offers the Employment Program of British Columbia (EPBC), which offers a range of services that support job seekers to find and maintain employment and to improve employment readiness in the Prince George area.

WorkBC Prince George offers a client-centered approach to a variety of integrated services and supports that are responsive and inclusive to labour market demands. WorkBC Prince George offer clients training, knowledge, support and accessible resources to assist in obtaining employment as quickly as possible.

What Services are Available?

WorkBC Prince George has staff ready to assist clients as best as they can in developing skills and finding jobs. We offer a broad spectrum of services and programs to meet the need of each job seeker. Our staff will work with you to determine the best services and supports that help you find success in your job search.

  • Resources for an independent job search
  • Access to Job Coaches for those seeking more individualized assistance
  • Personalized Employment Planning
  • Workshops and Training
  • Occupational Skills Training
  • Basic and Essential Skills Training
  • Self-employment services
  • Job Search services for persons with disabilities
